Clean Election Rally cum Worship Nite in Kohima
Kohima, September 7 (MExN): The Kohima Ao Baptist Church Youth Ministry is organizing a Clean Election rally cum worship nite on September 9 in the Heritage. This is a follow-up move in respond to the Clean Election Campaign called by the NBCC. The Clean Election Rally will starts from the Old MLA hostel junction at 1: 30 PM after a short time of prayer and message from the NBCC. The rally will end in the Heritage.
“We extend our joyous invitation to all the citizens of Kohima town, both young and old, to join in this rally for a better and cleaner Nagaland,” the organisers stated in a press release.
In the Heritage, there will be a clean election debating on the topic, “Is Clean election concepts/ideas practicable in reality?” Colo Mero, member of the NBCC clean election committee, will be the moderator. There will be 12 participants in the debating. Clean election debating will be followed by a short speech delivered by Khekiye Sema, IAS. The main function in the Heritage will be worship time lead by KABA praise & worship team, the Praise Fountain. There will also be good Christian music from Power Faith band.
The message on the theme will be delivered by Tiatoshi Longkümer, Asso. Pastor, youth, KABA. Tiarenla Jamir will host the function. All the denizens of Kohima town are invited to join in this event.
