Maligaon, September 27 (MExN): The Railway Protection Force (RPF) of the Northern Frontiers Railways (NFR) successfully rescued 17 children from railway premises from September 17-23. In one such incident, a minor girl was rescued and her kidnapper Majibir Rahman of Beltola, Kamrup District was arrested. On September 20, three girls, all from Tinsukia, who were being takne to Delhi on the promise of giving job by one Hemanta Sarmah. Again on September 22, three runaway minor girls all from Alipurduar, West Bengal were rescued. The Chief Public Relations Officer of NFR in a press release informed that all the rescued girls were in safe custody and the arrested persons handed over to the police.
