NMA supports NGBF Peace Rally

Kohima, December 11 (MExN): The Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA) today extended its solidarity and support to the Nagaland GB Federation (NGBF) on its proposed Peace Rally on December 12.

The rally will be held in all the Districts and Sub-Divisional Headquarters to expedite the Indo-Naga Peace Process. In this connection, the NMA asked all its units and all women to step out and walk for peace in their respective headquarters and be a part of this historic rally.

"As mothers, our concern for peace comes a long way. Enough blood has been shed for the cause of the Nagas and we reiterate our stand of working for peace and unity with no bias towards any," NMA stated in a press statement issued by its President Abei-ü Meru.

“We have walked extra miles in our humble endeavour to bring peace and assure our commitment to continuing peace initiatives in whatever ways possible,” it added.
