Dimapur, November 28 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) on November 23 apprehended four habitual drugs peddlers from Tsumang ‘A’ Colony in Wokha along with 620 nos of “spasmo profin”, a press release from Er. Yanpvuo Ezung, Chairman, Tsumang ‘A’ Colony informed.
“It has been learnt that the concern group/organization has given them verbal warning on many occasions to abstain from such illicit business but they gave a deaf ear to those verbal warnings,” the release stated and expressed appreciation to the CAO and the NSCN (IM) for the “utmost concern”.
A written FIR along with the seized items was submitted to the Officer in-charge of Police Station on the same date. Later the case was settled amicably through the initiative of the colony union officials with the support from the police personnel. Meanwhile, the Colony has urged all peace loving citizens to take necessary steps/measures and apprehend any illicit peddlers. “If found inside the perimeter of Tsumang ‘A’ Colony Wokha, hand over to the colony officials,” it urged.
