Dimapur, October 31 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has expressed sadness over the demise of Chunlungbou Pamai, Member of Steering Committee, on October 30 at Ntuma village, Makuilongdi ZLR region after a prolonged illness.
A condolence message from DG Robert, Cabinet Secretary to the GPRN informed that Late Chunlungbou Pamai joined the national service on February 23, 1999. “Since then, he had been serving the Naga nation whole-heartedly in various capacities with utmost sincerity and dedication giving his all for the nation till he breathed his last,” it stated. “He had exhibited honesty and truthfulness throughout his service which inspires all.”
His demise has brought irreparable loss to the nation and has created a huge void which will be difficult to fill, yet, his steadfast commitment and sacrificial service rendered to the sacred cause of the nation shall ever be cherished with pride and honor, the note added.
The NSCN (IM) further extended sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
