NSRLM Zbto trains district staff

Pughoboto, June 23 (MExN): The District Mission Management Unit (DMMU) of Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission (NSRLM) Zunheboto conducted one day orientation programme on livelihood for all the district staff, block staff, CSPs and representatives from VLOs at Town Hall, Pughoboto on June 22.  

The programme was conducted by the District Functional Specialists Atenjen Lemtur and Dr. L Bongtok Phom.  

They gave detailed presentation on the livelihood activity plan for the FY-2018-19 on both livestock and agriculture and also shared the different training activities that the CSPs will have to undergo this year, according to a press release.  

The CSPs will have training on piggery, poultry, seed treatment, nutrient management, improved paddy cultivation, line sowing, pest and disease management, intercropping, crop rotation, agro-ecological pesticides and use of bio-pesticide, it was informed.  

Welcome address and a brief presentation on DDGUKY was delivered by Vika Yeptho, ADPM (NSRLM).  

DC-FI Kitoho Chophy also presented a brief report on the activities of the financial inclusion team for the FY-2018-19 and the way forward for the district in financial inclusion.  

Around 70 people attended the programme.
