A total of 246 children from Police Baptist Church Kiphire (PBCK) attended the 5-day long Vacation Bible School (VBS) organized by the church under the theme 'Just like Jesus' 1Thes 2:6 from June 28 to July 2. Atsaba, Youth Director, PBCK was the Camp Director.
Rezulule, Addl. SP, Kiphire, who spoke on the closing day, encouraged the children to walk in the way of Jesus and also told the parents to be role model for their children. She also exhorted the children to be obedient and hard working so that they are successful in life.
Ben Longkumer, SP Kiphire also interacted with the children and encouraged them to give their best in everything they do. Stating that children are the future of the society, he asked the parents to guide the children in the way they should grow, in the fear of the Lord.
Bible recitation, memory verse, song, choreography and skit were the highlights of the five-day programme.
