The campaigning for Lok SAbha bye-election scheduled to take place on May 28, was held at public ground here in Pungro Town today with leaders from NDPP, BJP, JDU and NPP.
Speaking at the rally, T Kirithong Sangtam, Secretary, NDPP Nagaland called upon the gathering to vote for PDA Candidate Tokheho Yepthomi as he is a well experienced politicians who can best serve the interest. He also mentioned that Nagas were poised to gain a lot under the visionary leadership of Rio and therefore, urged upon the voters to stand fully behind PDA candidate maintaining that development and peace will accelerate. NDPP Secretary also urged upon the gathering to vote for PDA Candidate, so that Kiphire district as a whole will reap the fruit of development.
BJPs Ex-Candidate Yankiu also urged the voters to vote for PDA Candidate who can be a voice for Nagas in Delhi. NPP leader SK James stated that all party decided to support Tokheho Yepthomi keeping the larger interest of Nagas.
Yangseo Ex-Candidate and JD(U) leader also addressing the gathering at the rally called upon the voters to vote for PDA Candidate as it will not only ensure all round development but take Naga forward towards a better future. Lithriyem Yimchunger Secretary, NDPP Nagaland maintained PDA Candidate will win the up-coming bye -election.
