Kohima, August 19 (MExN): Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms (Pension Cell) in a circular informed that the P&AR Department in collaboration with Accountant General Office will be conducting a one day ‘Pension Adalat’ on August 23 at 11:00 AM at AG Office, for redressal of pension grievances.
Any Department having pending pension cases, where objections/clarifications have been raised by AG Office, are advised to settle those cases through the Nodal Officers during the Pension Adalat. Pensioners having grievances with regard to fixation of pension, revision of pension, or any other pensionary benefits, can attend the Pension Adalat and settle their grievances. If the pensioner is unable to attend the Pension Adalat, he/she can send a representative to plead his/her case.
It was also informed that the pensioner or his/her representative must bring the original PPO Book. In the absence of the original PPO Book, pension grievances will not be redressed.
