Peren, April 8 (DIPR): The monthly District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting of Peren district was held on April 6 under the chairmanship of DC Peren & Vice Chairman DPDB Peter Lichamo at the district headquarter.
After reviewing the last meeting’s minutes, the board discussed the supply of timber and finished products from the district and decided to forward the same to DFO Peren. The meeting also decided to bring out annual magazine with the achievement and activities undertaken by the various departments. ADC, S. Taniu apprised the meeting on the deaths of cattle in the district and to find out the reason and remedial measures to prevent such epidemics.
The board also endorsed RD department to give a PowerPoint presentation on its departmental activities in the next DPDB meeting. All departments were also requested to submit their proposal for construction of office buildings and staff quarters by the end of the month.
