Committee to scrutinize parliamentary laws

Kohima, July 10 (MExN):
The meeting of the Committee to Scrutinize Parliamentary Laws for application to Nagaland on separation of judiciary from executive and the Nagaland Registration of Marriage Bill, 2007 which was earlier fixed on July 8 has been further postponed to July 13 at 11:00 am in the Committee Room of Assembly Secretariat. All the concerned committee members and departmental representatives have been requested to take note of it and attend the said meeting.

NCSU Phek consultative meet on July 13

Dimapur, July 10 (MExN):
The Nagaland Contractors and Suppliers Union, is set to gather for a consultative meeting on July 13 at GS, Rest house, Phek Town. Setsu Puro, President NCSU, Phek, in a press release requested all the office bearers of NCSU Phek and Phek area Public organization, 19th ACCC and 19th NPF to attend the said meeting positively.

KAPO condemns

Dimapur, July 10 (MExN):
The Kuzha Area Public Organization (KAPO) vehemently condemned the unlawful carjacking and damage of the vehicle of Veheshu Medeo, working President, NPF Phek Division on June 29.
KAPO in a press note issued by its president Dikha Ngone and press secretary Züpelo Wetsa stated that it takes serious note of the dastardly act and implore upon the concern authority to take the strongest action on those involved. “We also appeal to the authorities to be more vigilant in such matters in the days to come and spare no efforts to prevent the same unlawful activities.”

Niathu club express condolence
 
DIMAPUR, JULY 10 (MExN):
The Core Committee members of Niathu Resorts Club has expressed deep condolence at untimely demise of its member late Ashish Kr. Sethi, son of late Ramchand Sethi. “The sudden demise of Ashish Sethi has come as a rude shock to the members of Niathu Resorts. Member of one of the oldest settlers among Marwaris in Dimapur, late Ashish was mainly known for his simple living and religious nature. We sincerely pray for the departed soul to rest in peace and pray that God give strength to the bereaved family at this hour of grief,” a condolence note from the committee stated.
