Road show on World Food India

Kohima, July 25 (DIPR): The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), Government of India is organizing World Food India 2017 from November 3-5 at New Delhi. The World Food India 2017 will present an opportunity to showcase investment friendly policies and investment potential in food processing sector in the State.

As a prelude to the World Food India 2017, MoFPI is organizing road shows in the States on World Food India 2017 to mobilize industry/State participation in the event and to highlight potential areas of investment.  

In Nagaland, ASSOCHAM under the guidance of the MoFPI is organizing the "Road Show World Food 2017 and SAMPADA-The Scheme" on July 31 at Niathu Resort from 2:00 pm.  

Joint Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India Ashok Kumar, IAS will be present for the Road Show.  

The main program of the event will focus on creating awareness among start-up/entrepreneurs for the SAMPADA scheme which is newly launched by the Ministries of Food Processing Industries.  

Given the importance of the event, participants, entrepreneurs, progressive farmers, banks, financial institutions and stake holder departments are expected to be present. This was informed in a release by the Department of Industries and Commerce.
