Dimapur, July 14 (MExN): The combined meeting of Supply Colony Council, Mothers’ Union and Youth Organization was held on July 10 at Children’s Park. The house approved the recently constituted Youth Body which will be known as ‘Supply Colony Youth Organization.’ Distribution of works amongst the three bodies and police was assigned for beautifying the Resting Shed in the colony. The house also agreed to set up a ‘Sanitation Committee’ to look after the sanitation and cleanliness in the colony. The Committee members were selected from three bodies of the colony, consisting of Mothers’ Union President, Hetoshi Sangtam as Convener, and Secretary Zuchano as Member Secretary with members including Youth Organization, President, G. Hekito Sema, Secretary Tiawapang Council, Chairman, Wekhape Letro, Joint Secretary Wati Ao and GB, H. Yenito Swu as Co-convener. Further, the house resolved to repair colony roads with sand gravel to fill up potholes. The house further agreed to appeal to all its residents to contribute generously towards the expenditures. The Mothers’ Union has been entrusted for collection of this contribution which shall be effect from July 11 to August 10.
