Ukhrul, December 2 (MExN): The “Tangkhul Naga Football Centenary (TNFC) Football Tournament” being organized by the Araang League will kick off on December 5 in Ukhrul. The tournament which will conclude on December 18 is being held in commemoration of the Tangkhul players from 22nd Manipur Labour Corps who played for the 66th unit team in Blargies, France during WWI, 1917. Altogether, 16 clubs will be vying for the champion’s prize of Rs. 5 lakh.
