Phek, September 11 (MExN): Under the aegis of the Tizu Area Baptist Church Council (TABCC) Women Welfare Society two-day seminar cum workshop on ‘valuing self reliant’ was held at Jericho-I Panchayat Hall, Phek Town on September 8 and 9 with Deputy Commissioner, Phek, Kovi Meyase as the chief guest. A press release issued by Akhrole Chizo, General Secretary, Tizu Area Women Welfare Society (TAWWS) stated that DC Phek, Kovi Meyase in his inaugural address stressed on the importance of leading an independent life and challenged the gathering to develop self belief, adaptability, humility and passion in life.
The resource persons included, Vechikhoyi Lohe, Principal, Government Higher Secondary School, Pfutsero and Kupota Khesoh, former Chairperson, Phek Town Council dwelling on the topic ‘Self Reliant in Competitive World’ and ‘Self Reliant in Societal Prospect’ respectively.
