The number of visitors to the ongoing Hornbill festival at Kisama was 1, 09, 945 as on December 6.
On December 6, the number of visitors registered was 13,754.


These constitute 252 foreign tourists, domestic tourists-2501 and local visitors at 11,001.
Till December 6, the number of foreign tourist stood at 2463, domestic tourists- 20,095 and local visitors at 87,427, according to tourism official source.

 

Kiren Rijiju, Dr. Jitendra Singh to grace day 7
Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and Minister of State in the Ministry of Minority Affairs of India, Kiren Rijiju will grace the Cultural Connect programme on December 7 at 11am at Kisama. Virginie Coretval, Consul General will be the honoured guest.


The evening cultural programme at 2 pm at Kisama will be graced by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State (IC), Ministry of Development of North East Region (DONER) and Minister of State in Prime Minister Office, personnel, pension and public grievances, atomic energy and space.


The honoured guest will be K. Moses Chalai, secretary NEC.
