Morung United today defeated Mustang FC 6-2 in the 1st match of the Game Week-7 of the ongoing 11th Morning Premier League (MPL) 2026 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
Pirong opened the account for Morung United in the early 3rd minute while Theja increased the score tally in the 11th minute.
Keneisel netted the 3rd goal for the team in the 28th minute and later connected his second goal in the 60th minute.
Bura also connected two goals for the team in the 50th and 70th minute.
Sumedem and Imo netted a goal each for Mustang FC in the 9th and 16th minute receptively.
