Mustang FC today defeated Merhulietsa FC 5-1 in the last match of Game Week-8 of the ongoing 11th Morning Premier League (MPL) 2026 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima. Menjan opened the account for Mustang FC in the early 3rd minute and netted his second goal in the 7th minute.
Khampei, Imo and Zevi connected a goal each for the team in the 70th, 75th and 80th minute respectively. Olando scored a lone goal for Merhulietsa FC.
Meanwhile, till the end of Game Week 8, Vanguard FC (Old Boys) topped the league table with 27 points, followed by Eagle FC with 21 points on second list and Unity FC with 19 points on 3rd list.
Meanwhile, the Game Week- 9 matches will start from April 6.
