Longleng, April 10 (MExN): The 12th edition of the Phom Monyiu Open Volleyball Tournament was held from April 7 to 10 at the Public Ground, Longleng. The tournament was organised by the Longleng Town Students’ Union in collaboration with the Longleng District Volleyball Association, with 12 teams participating.
Anaki Phom Volleyball Association emerged as the champion, while United Rising Sporting Club, Yimchong, secured the runner-up position.
Individual awards were also presented. Wonglom of Anaki Phom Volleyball Association was named Best Spiker, Abu Okla C. Phom of URSC Yimchong received the Best Setter award, and P. Shingjei of Yongphang Students Union was awarded Best Libero. Hukphang Students Union (B) was recognised as the Best Discipline Team, while Bauaok of Anaki Phom Volleyball Association was named Player of the Tournament.
