The 13th Imchaba Master Memorial Nagaland Open Volleyball trophy, organized by the Mokokchung District Volleyball Association concluded today at Multi-purpose Sports Complex, Mokokchung. Er. Tsuktinunsang, Chief Engineer, Dept. of Water Resources, Govt. of Nagaland was the Chief Patron at the closing function. He spoke about the genesis of Late Master Imchaba volleyball trophy and also the history of volleyball sport and encouraged the players to play professionally and to compete in the national and international level.
Sakutemjen Memorial Club, Chungtia Yimsen was the Champion of the tournament while Changtongya Volleyball Association, Changtongya was the runner up.
Sporting Club, Koralong and Lakhuni Sporting Club ended up as third and fourth placed winners respectively.
The chief patron gave away the prizes to the winners. Individual awards
Best Setter: Imsuwar, Sakutemjen Memorial Club, Chungtia Yimsen
Best Spiker: Imkongsanen, Changtongya Volleyball Association
Player of the tournament: Tongpangsunep, Sakutemjen Memorial Club, Chungtia Yimsen
