17th LYS sports meet concludes

DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 27 (MExN): The Leshemi Youth Society’s (LYS) 17th Rünye Sports Meet 2020  was held from December  21-24, with Lhiwepelo Ritse, President,  Khezha/Kuzha Tephe Sports Association as  Guest Speaker for the opening ceremony and Jacob Krome, G/T GMS Leshemi as Guest of Honour for the closing ceremony. 

7 colonies competed in the men’s football event with Chüzhapa Colony emerging as the champion and Leshemi Zuketsa Dwellers Team as runners up. The winners are awarded with cash award and citation. 

Four teams competed for the women’s football event with Leshemi Zuketsa Dwellers Team emerging as Champion and Leshemi-A as runners up. The winners are awarded with cash award and citation.
