Dimapur, February 9 (MExN): United XI, Manu Brothers and Dimensions XI CC registered wins on the second day of the 1st Champions Trophy being held at Local Ground Chümoukedima Town.
The T-20 cricket tournament is being organized by Nagamese Baptist Fellowship (NBF) Sports Ministry Chümoukedima Village and powered by G-Sports on the theme ‘Pursue oneness’.
In the first match, United XI won the toss and decided to field. They restricted their opponents Royal Club to 108 runs in 18.6 overs. United XI managed to achieve the target in 14 overs losing 7 wickets with Abinash being adjudged as man of the match.
In the second match, Manu Brothers defeated Patriotic by 3 wickets. Batting first, Patriotic scored 132 runs in 19 overs while Manu Brothers achieved the target in 16 overs with a loss of 7 wickets. Labunesh was declared the man of the match.
In the third match, Dimensions XI CC defeated Green Galaxy CC by 165 runs. Electing to bat first, Dimensions set a target of 233 runs losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. Green Galaxy batsmen CC were bundled out for 68 runs in 14 overs. Aletuo was adjudged man of the match.
