Dimapur, February 10 (MExN): Whiskers CC, Vikings CC and Das Brothers registered wins on the third day of the 1st Champions Trophy T-20 cricket tournament being played at the local ground, Chümoukedima.
In the first match of the day, Whiskers CC defeated United XI CC by 32 runs. Winning the toss, Whiskers elected to bat and amassed 155 runs with a loss of 9 wickets.
In the second innings of the match, Whiskers CC bowlers managed to restrict their rival United XI CC to 122 in 16 overs to win the match. Victor was adjudged man of the match for his 45 runs and 2 wickets haul.
In the second match, Dream Killers won the toss and elected to bat but were bundled out for 85 runs.
Vikings CC achieved the target in 7 overs with a loss of just 3 wickets. Imocha was declared man of the match.
In the third match, Das Brothers won against Lancer XI CC by 108 runs. Batting first, Das Brothers set a target of 169 runs in 19 overs while Lancer XI CC were all out for 60 in 9 overs. Dokina was declared man of the match for taking five wickets.
