Dimapur, January 8 (MExN): The Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) on Friday announced that the 1st Late G Rio Memorial U-19 (Boys) Inter-District Tournament would be held on from January 18 to 26.
The Tournament is set to be the first event organized by the NCA for the 2020-21 season, NCA Hon Secretary Hyunilo Anilo Khing informed in a press statement on January 8.
The confirmed participating district teams have been divided into two groups-A and B with Mokokchung, Dimapur, Kohima and Tuensang in group A while Group B includes Peren, Wokha, Zunheboto and Mon.

The Topper of each respective Pool will advance to the finals which will be played on January 26.
Guidelines for participating teams
The NCA also issued guidelines to be followed by the participating teams.
All teams should consist of 15 players and 2 support staff (Team Coach and Manager), as per the NCA statement.
The teams of Group A have been informed to report to Nagaland Cricket Academy on January 16 by 3:00 pm and all Group B teams are to report on January 21 by 3:00 pm.
All District teams should produce a COVID negative test report issued from their respective District COVID testing centers upon arrival to Nagaland Cricket Academy.
All teams are to adhere by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) issued by the NCA. All teams are to be lodged in the Academy and violation of the NCA’s guidelines will be dealt strictly by the Disciplinary Sub-Committee of NCA, it added.
Any changes to the schedule of the tournament will be issued via notification by email to the respective District Association, the NCA added.
