Kohima, August 17 (MExN): The 20th Quinquennial Livestock Census is schedule to commence from August 20 all over the Country. Accordingly, Government of Nagaland, Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services in consonance with the rest of the States shall be launching the Census on August 20. This Census report shall reflect breed-wise population count of livestock and poultry including fisheries activities in the State and more importantly the economy of the farmers, stated a press release issued by Dr. Aomangyang Walling, Director AH & Veterinary Services, Kohima. Therefore, all the Administration in the District and Sub-Divisional level, Villages, Wards and General Public are requested to extend their co-operation with the Departmental staff during the enumeration period so as to generate realistic information.
