Mokokchung, January 11 (MExN): The inaugural of the 22nd Session of the Tzürangkong Student's Conference (TKM) was held at Moayimti Village on January 10 evening.
Nagaland Parliamentary Secretary for CAWD & Taxes, Dr. Benjongliba Aier speaking as the inaugural guest, emphasized on the theme “Self-Sustenance” and encouraged the students to possess dignity of labour so that the challenge of dependence on “foreigners” can be addressed.
“It is high time that each and every individual should change their mindset,” he said while calling on the students to “struggle” and take the advantage of being self-reliant.
Pursuing education, he maintained, should not just mean getting degrees and certificates to get a job but, instead help in unearthing potentials, talents, skills which can be exposed and utilized positively.
Meanwhile, Dr. Aier also congratulated the people of Tzürangkong range for successfully hosting the 27th NSF General Conference last year in May 2017.
