Former NDPP President of Tuensang region, H Wongto, on Wednesdayaddressed the 23rd AnoviAmong Volley Trophy as the special guest at Noksen.
Addressing the event, Wongtolauded Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio’s leadership in advancing sports and infrastructure development in Nagaland. He commended the event organisers for fostering young sporting talent.
He called on players to uphold the true spirit of sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
Highlighting Chief Minister Rio’s political journey, Wongto emphasised that the NDPP–NPF merger was a step toward strengthening a unified regional party aimed at preserving Naga culture and identity.
He urged the public to support the chief minister’s vision for a stronger and more cohesive Nagaland.
