Dimapur, April 6 (MExN): The graduation ceremony of skill training for unemployed youth batch 24 was held at Don Bosco Tech AIDA centre on April 6. Rev. Fr CT Varghese, Rector of Don Bosco School campus graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Leknath Adhikari shared his life testimony. He invited his colleagues to “be honest and hardworking at work” and asked everyone to “carry along the values they have learned at the institute.”
The outgoing trainees welcomed their parents and guests with a song and presented a thanksgiving song. Earlier, parents’ meeting was held during which placement related information were shared with them.
24th batch of skill training programme for unemployed youth began on January 22 with 64 trainees from 18 different tribes and communities from Assam, Nagaland, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh. 60 trainees successfully completed the training in Assistant beauty therapist and Food and Beverages Service steward domains. All the 60 trainees have received offer letters from the companies.
A press release further informed that the training for batch 25 will begin on April 19. The centre plans to train 100 youth in this silver batch.
