The Phek Sports’ Association (PSA) today conducted its 2nd edition of open penalty shoot-out tournament 2021 for both men and women at Phek village.

Khosapa Venuh, President, Phek District Congress Committee graced the inaugural function as the special guest.
In the men’s category, Tehecece Nado (B) emerged the champion and were awarded with Rs. 30,000 sponsored by Krodi Rhetso, commandant 5th NAP Phek.

Old Town team came second position and received Rs. 20,000 sponsored by Chikho Nienu, Class 1 contractor.

Meanwhile, Tehecece Nado (A) and Tehecece Nado (C) bagged the third and fourth places and were awarded Rs. 5000 and Rs. 3000 sponsored by Nuchikhoyi Rhakho of Rhoto Sports Agency and Khosanieyi Venuh, Vice President, NPF Phek town unit respectively.

Bible Hill- Surhoba who won the women’s event of the PSA open penalty shootout tournament. 
 

Bible Hill- Surhoba won the women’s category event and got a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 sponsored by Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Phek. Tehecece Nado bagged second position and received Rs. 7000 sponsored by Namang Sepong Chang- SDO (C) Phek.

Old Town and Ketuozu stood 3rd and 4th place and received Rs. 3000 and Rs. 2000 sponsored by Er. Thselo Lasuh, PHED Phek and Wetezo Lohe respectively.

Savoto Rhakho of Tehecece Nado and Murhelu Venuh of Old Town bagged the Rs 1000 individual prizes for the Golden Glove (Men) and Golden Glove (Women) respectively. The award was sponsored by the PSA. 

Meanwhile, PSA President Surhoneyi Soho expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the tournament.
