DIMAPUR: A three day spiritual feeding camp was held at the “Operation Salvage”,  a GPRN rehab centre from October 14 to 16. It was organised by “Word of Life Ministry, Dimapur.

Altogether 5 members of the ministry conducted the camp. On the occasion the speaker Aochuba expressed to the inmates that such spiritual programme was to win the soul and to show the way of salvation for freeing them from the bondage of evil. He made known to the congregation that the love of God is unconditional.

On the concluding night there was a healing service meant especially for the needy ones, where most of the inmates were delivered and received healings from various kinds of diseases and sickness. It was amazing to witness the healing of one inmate by the name Tongpang who could not move easily due to a pain in the stomach. He was given special prayer and attention and meanwhile relief came upon him dramatically.

Speaking after the camp had concluded, the speaker remarked that the inmates were spiritually thirsty and said that they were in the last stage of life and that it was the right time to give them spiritual healing. He further urged all the working NGO’s and the concerned government to maximise their contribution towards alleviating the problems of such people.

The speaker Aochuba also shared what he had observed that unlike other rehab camps he had attended, ‘the inmates here are more open and forward in nature which  make me think that it is the right time’. The other members from the ministry were Asang, J.S. Meren, Aren and Senti. One of the inmates during the operation had to say ‘there have been so many seminars and counsellings, but this time is the best session I’ve ever attended, and I feel the inspiring change in me ’.

It may be mentioned that, the rehabilitation camp is situated around 3 kms away from Heningkunglwa village under Jalukie town. Presently there are 84 inmates who have been detained for various reasons such as for using drugs, alcohol and others who are involved in anti-social activities.
