Dimapur, February 6 (MExN): Three more legislators have submitted their resignations from the Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) on February 6. They include Namri Nchang of the NDPP from 6-Tening AC, Pohwang Konyak of the NDPP from 44 - Phomching, and Dr Longrineken of the BJP from 29- Jangpetkong. A press release from the NLA Secretariat informed that the Speaker has accepted the resignations tendered by the legislators with effect from the forenoon of February 6. “Consequent upon their resignation, the Speaker of the NLA hereby declare the seats mentioned against their names as vacant,” it added.
