Dimapur, December 22 (MExN): Dimapur Police on December 20 arrested 3 NNC (N/A) cadres while they were asking for donations in the name of Christmas from a shop at Khermahal Police Point, Circular Road Dimapur.
A press release from the Dimapur Police identified the three as Sukhai Awomi, Dy. Secy, Tokaho Chopy, Home Secy, and Hokato Rotokha, Finance Secy.
On conducting body search over the accused, one 7.65 MM country made pistol with the engraving “Made in USA” with two live rounds and one magazine was recovered from the possession of Sukhai Awomi and one .22 MM country made pistol with two .22MM live rounds and one magazine was recovered from the possession of Tokaho Chopy, the Dimapur Police informed.
A case in this connection has been registered at West Police Station Dimapur for further investigation.
