32nd Loyem Memorial Trophy to kick off from October 31

TUENSANG, September  30 (MExN): The 32ndedition of the Loyem Memorial Trophy (LMT) will commence from October 16 to 31 at the Loyem Memorial Astro-Turf ground in Tuensang. Organized by the Chang WedoshiSetshang (Chang Students’ Conference) and the Chang Sports Association, this open championship promises to attract players and teams from across the region and beyond.

The tournament boasts an impressive prize pool, with the champion team receiving ₹230,000 and the runners-up taking home Rs 120,000. Both semi-finalists will be awarded ₹25,000 each. Individual accolades include Rs 20,000 and a trophy for the Best Player, alongside ₹10,000 each for the Golden Boot and Golden Glove winners.

The organizing committee encourages clubs and teams from both within and outside the district to participate. For those traveling from afar, arrangements for lodging can be coordinated with the organizing committee to ensure a comfortable stay.
Registration for the tournament will take place from October 2 to 12. Interested teams can obtain registration forms at several locations: the CWS Office, Kingsmen Hotel near GHSS Tuensang, and Onrush Cave near the tower clock.
