Dimapur, September 12 (MExN): Shreyans Jain of Delhi Public School lifted the boys singles title by defeating Akumlong Longkumar of Little Star Higher Secondary School, while Elita A Sangtam of Little Star Higher Secondary School lifted the girls singles title by defeating Tania Kachari of Little Star Higher Secondary School in the Royal Oak presents 34th Leo club Inter-school Table Tennis Tournament which concluded on September 10. The annual tournament is organised by Leo club of Dimapur.
In the boys doubles category, Kihika Yeptho and Akumlong Longkumar of Little Star Higher Secondary school defeated Samyak jain and Kushal Sethi of Delhi Public School
In the girls doubles category, Tania Kachari and Elita A Sangtam of Little Star Higher Secondary School defeated Gracia and Atolika of Little Star Higher Secondary School.
The boy singles title was lifted by Delhi Public School and the girls singles, boys doubles and girls doubles were lifted by Little Star Higher Secondary School.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Naina Jain, Proprietor of Royal Oak as the chief guest.
Meanwhile, the 28th Leo Club Inter-school slogan contest was also conducted at the same time and was adjudged by Naina Jain. The winners were Mashunring Shimray of St Mary Montessori Higher Secondary School, 2nd place was Nilona Sema of Delhi Public School and 3rd place was Veda Singh of SD Jain Higher Secondary School.
The project was headed by Sanyam Paharia and Ayush jain under the leadership of Arihant Kala and the closing ceremony of the event was graced by Vesufra Kezo, NPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police.
