Kohima, December 16 (MExN): The 35th Sports Meet of the Gidemi Youth Organization (GYO) got underway at the village on December 15 with Veneyi Vadeo, former Advisor, Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) as the chief guest. The inaugural day was marked by athletic events. Meanwhile, Kuzholuyi of Upper Khel and Kudusulu of DBK Khel dashed their way to victory in the 100 metres sprint in the men and women category respectively and were declared individual champions in the men and women categories. The 3-day long meet will culminate on December 17 with Dr. Shevo Hiese, MO, PHC Porba as the guest of honour at the valedictory function.
