DIMAPUR, JANUARY 29 (MExN): Mishilimi FC, Natsumi FC and Spirities DC Pughoboto registered wins with Lazami FC and Kichilimi FC drew at the 3rd Aphuyemi Football Cup on January 29.
The first match of the day saw Lazami Student Union and Kichilimi FC playing out a 1-1 draw. Vikuto Swu from Lazami scored in 17th minute and Inoto Achimi equalized in the 44th minute.
In the second match Mishilimi FC defeated Ghokimi FC 2-1. Bovito Shwqi opened the scoring for Mishilimi FC in the 7th minute. Ghokimi FC equalized in the 20th minute through Pikugha. Sheqi scored again in the 26th minute to ensure a victory for his team.
Meanwhile Natsumi FC won by a large margin defeating United FC Chisholi 6-2. Yekivi swu from Natsumi FC opened the scoring in the 11th minute while Kimiyeto Swu doubled the lead in the 24th minute. Tokishe Natsumi and Piketo pulled United FC back into the match with two quick goals in sucession before half time. Near the end of the break however, Natsumi FC regained their lead through a goal from Tokishe. The second half was all Natsumi FC as they doubled their lead again through Tokishe. The game was done and dusted as two goals from Natsumi FC’s Kimiyeto Swu scored twice with two minutes.
The final match of the day saw Spirities Cc Pughoboto beat Center Club Makati 2-1. Kasheto Hetho scored in 13th minute for Spirities FC. Their lead was doubled by Jaminungsang in the 33rd minute. Despite a goal from Kakhevi in the 48th minute, Center Club Makati were unable to salvage the match.
