Kohima, October 20 (MExN): The 3rd North East India Youth Mission Conference 2019 which began on October 18 concluded today at Kandinu Baptist Church with vibrant closing ceremony presented by Children Education Department (CED) Kandi Churches.
A press release from media in-charge of the conference stated that, earlier, A Jenny Christopher, National Secretary for Church Supportive Ministries, Indian Evangelical Mission (IEM) in his closing message challenged the youth delegates to “reconcile with God and be the ambassadors for Christ at this chaos generation.”
He elaborated his message by narrating the life of Jonah from the Bible. Jeyalo Kath, Youth Pastor, Sishunu Baptist Church chaired the closing ceremony programme, while songs were presented by ECM Assembly Choir Maraland , Mizoram, Meghalaya Team, Kandi Choir and Manipur.
Scripture passage was read out by Pastor Kekhimo Kath, Ehunnu Baptist Church. Word of gratitude was proposed by Chitulo Apon, Youth coordinator for Church Ministry North East India, Indian Evangelical Mission (IEM).
Benediction was pronounced by Reverend Dr Mangyang Chang.
Altogether 158 youth delegates from the state of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Sikkim and Nagaland were officially registered for the three-day Conference.
