DIMAPUR, JANUARY 13 (MExN): The 46th general conference of the Khaghaboto Area Students' Union (KSAU) which began January 9 under the theme 'Envisioning Excellence' culminated successfully on January 11 at Zukihe village. The conference was hosted by Zukihe Village Students' Union.
Kahuto Chishi Sumi, Convenor of Concerned People of Nagaland was the speaker and Vikato Achumi President, KTKK delivered greetings on the inaugural day. Kughato Achumi, President Western Sümi Students' Union was the speaker in the felicitation programme.
Jacob Zhimomi, Minister, PHED, Nagaland graced the inaugural session. KK Sema, IAS Retd was the theme speaker and Dr Andrew Ahoto Sema, President, NPP, Nagaland State was the guest of honor.
Over 700 student delegates from 16 out of 17 villages under Khaghaboto area participated in the programme. The three day conference witnessed a host of indigenous games and sports, art and literary competitions besides cultural events. Academic excellence awards were also given to toppers and other successful students in the HSLC and HSSLC examinations.
The 47th General Conference will be hosted by Shitoi Village Students' Union.
