The 19th edition of the NSF Martyrs' Memorial Trophy 2018 under the theme "Goal for Peace" organize by the Angami Students’ Union will begin from 22nd September in the state capital from Kohima Local ground (Khuochiezie) with Tongpang Ozukum, Minister for PWD as the special invitee at 2:00 pm.
Altogether, 47 teams will be participating in the month long tournament for a coveted championship. The teams are 36 from kohima, 1 team from Dimapur,1 team from Zunheboto,3 teams from Phek,1 team from Mizoram and 5 teams from Manipur state will be playing.
Meanwhile, the organizing committee is all set to give away attractive prizes with trophy and citations along with cash amounting 2 lakhs for the champion, 1,20,000 for runners-up, 30,000 each for losing semi finalists and 15,000 each for quarter finalists besides 5 individual prizes.
The organizing committee of the 19th NSF MMT invites all the victims of 20 March 1986, ASU formers, well wishers, Schools and colleges in kohima for the grant opening ceremony. All the team managers and Coaches are required to report at the ground for technical briefing at 10.30 Am sharp, it added.
