4th Faith in Action Taekwondo Championship

DMAPUR, OCTOBER 9 (MExN): Immanuel Hall of Y. Zhimo Colony clinched 47 Medals and were crowned champions in 4th Faith in Action Taekwondo Championship 2016 by clinching 25 Gold, 8 Silver and 14 Bronze Medals.   The two day Taekwondo event cumulated here on Saturday at State Badminton Stadium, Dimapur.   Korean Grand Master Seongkuk Jeong, 7th Dan Black Belt, who was present during the occasion said he was impressed by seeing the talents among the local boys and girls. “These young players are truly a product who can represent India in International level if they are given proper training”, he said. The Nagas looks just like Korean and are very friendly, he said while adding that very soon he will pay another visit to Nagaland along with his family.   The 1st India Tia Open International Championship 2016 Taekwondo will be held at Kolkata from December 28 to 29, informed Deep Kumar, Director Faith in Action. Moreover, encouraging the players to involve themselves in sports, he said Taekwondo helps to keep one’s mind fit and bring discipline in one’s life.   The Best Discipline award was bagged by St. Mary Montessori Hr. Sec. School. The Best of the Best Fighters Award in Male Category was bagged by Temsumar of Vision Home Hr. Sec. School in the male category and Diana D. Chishi of Immanuel Hall, Y. Zhimo Colony in the female category.   The best official in male category was Inausana Singha of El-Shaddai School, while Alice D Chishi of Immanuel Hall, Y. Zhimo Colony won the same in the female category   Best Fighter in Colour Belt Categories: 1. Francis of Kuhuboto Taekwondo Academy in Sub-Junior Boys Category.   2.
