Middle school boys from Mizoram thrash MP’s Emerald Heights 21-0
New Delhi, August 28 (MExN): Government Chawnefinga Middle School, Mizoram drubbed Emerald Heights International School, Madhya Pradesh in a lopsided outing here today at the Subroto Park Ground of the ongoing 58th Subroto Cup Football Tournament.
It was total domination as the boys from Mizoram struck 21 times to Emerald Heights' 0. Each player, except the goal-keeper, scored a goal for Chawnefinga with Lalthang Liana leading the pack with six goals. Letminlun Singson scored 5 while Lalmuan Puia scoring 3.

In another match at the same ground later in the day, Army Boys Sports Company scraped past Minerva Public School, Punjab 2-1.
At the Dr Ambedkar Stadium, St. Ignatius High School, Jharkhand downed Sainik School, Imphal 5-3. In another game at the same venue, Holy Spirit Institute Margo, Goa defeated New Delhi’s Air Force Bal Bharti School 2-0.
Astqlal Kabul, Afghanistan defeated Maharani Highschool, Assam 3-1 in the third game of the day played at the Dr. Ambedkar Stadium. The Maharani boys started on a good note finding the target in the 6th minute but the Kabulis struck back in the 16th and to later dominate with two more goals in the second half.
BKSP Rirani Savar Dhaka, Bangladesh handed a 3-0 defeat to Sports Hostel Namchi, Sikkim in the 6th game of the day.
Sports Authority of India, Kolkata managed a 1-0 win over Reliance Foundation School, Mumbai in the 7th game. Government Mahatma Gandhi Androth, Lakshadweep thrashed Government Primary School Fort Area, Daman & Diu 4-0 in the 8th game of the day.
