The 5th edition of Aphuyemi Cup 2023 kicked start today at Pughoboto town under the aegis of Aphuyemi Football Club.
Heboluto FC defeated Secret FC 2-1 in the inaugural match. Nikiho Tenna scored both the goal for Heboluto FC. A lone goal for Secret FC came through Kaho. Khuyevi netted a goal for Lozu FC in the second match to win over Candida FC 1-0.
United Brothers, Mukali registered win over Diligent FC Pughoboto by a solitary goal in the third match.
The winning goal for United Brothers came through Akito.
Natsumi FC blanked Youngster FC, Mishili Phuye 3-0 in the last match of the day.
