The 5th Master Shield Trophy unveiling ceremony and drawing of fixtures was held today at the Circuit House Conference Hall with Temsuchuba Jamir, SDO (Civil), Mokokchung as special guest. The tournament is being organized by the Mokokchung District T20 Cricket Federation and will begin Monday, February 8.
A total of 10 teams will be participating in the league cum knock-out tournament, divided into four pools. Troopers and United XI Mongchen in Pool A; Red Back, Skylark CC and Titans CC in Pool B; Trebuchet and A&K in Pool C; Tritons, Sovran CC and Vincent CC in Pool D are the teams vying for the trophy unveiled today.
The first match of the tournament will be played between Troopers and United XI Mongchen on Monday where 1st class contractor Moatoshi Tzudir will be the chief patron. The final will be played on February 16.
