5th Swagath Chizami Cup

DIMAPUR, APRIL 3 (MExN): Chizami Cup, an undertaking of Life Sports, is scheduled to be held from April 22 to May 3. The total prize money for the tournament is Rs 3.34 Lakhs, and is set to become the highest in the State. The running trophy, imported from Bangkok, Thailand, made of pewter metal with gold linings is worth more than Rs 30,000, donated by Mehuchümvü Foundation Chizami. Around 600 footballers representing teams from across the State and beyond participate in the tournament every year. The event is also an initiative to encourage and develop club football in the state. A drive through the 88 Kms journey to Chizami, a Sub-Divisional HQ in Phek District is only 3 hours away from Kohima.

5. Quarterfinalists :     Rs. 6000 x 4 Teams = ` 24,000/-

2. The Matches shall be conducted by NFA Certified Referees and Senior State Players.
3. The Tournament will uphold AIFF Rules & Regulations.
