PEREN, APRIL 3 (MExN): The 6th inter district government higher secondary and government high school tournament was conducted from March 27 to 28 at GHS Mbaulwa ground. A press note informed that the chief guest for the event was Chubasangla Jamir, SDPEO Peren. The inaugural function was chaired by Paugu, Pastor of Baptist Church Old Tesen. Welcome address was delivered by Ernest Zeliang, Headmaster GHS Mbaulwa, while special vocal chorale and drill display were presented by GHS Mbaulwa. GHSS Jalukie emerged champions at boys football, boys badminton double and boys badminton single. GHS Peren were champions at girls football while GHS Tening were champions at girls badminton double and girls badminton single.
