Dimapur, Nov 15 (MExN): The land allotted for establishment of 6th NAP HQ at Langmeang village, has run into rough ground. W Wangyok Kaihi Angh from the village issued a brief statement today asserting ownership over the land and it would not be given away but be fought against any takeover. “I am the rightful owner of the land called Mananghong at Aboi but Shri. Nyeiwang Konyak, MLA (NPF) of 47 A/C has proposed, allotted and gave away the said land to the Government for establishing 6th NAP HQ without my knowledge and consultation. As the land is my ancestral inheritance, I have absolute ownership and therefore, I shall never give away the land at any cost and shall fight for my right up to the end” he stated.
