Kohima, April 10 (MExN): The Kohima District Rifle Association (KDRA) is organizing 6th Open Air Rifle Shooting Tournament 2023 for both men and women on April 15 at Pele Khezhie’s Indoor Stadium, D.Khel Kohima village, below Oriental College Kohima.
KDRA is affiliated to Nagaland Rifle Association.
Dr.Tseilhoutuo (Ato) Rhutso, MLA, 9 Kohima Town Assembly Constituency will grace the inaugural program as special guest.
Tournament will be conducted under 3 different categories. 10m PCP Air Rifle (Open sight), 10m Break Barrel Air Rifle (Open sight ) and 25m Air Rifle with Scope bench rest.
Entry forms will be available at; Sports World, Kohima Town, opp. Bank of Baroda, Pfonuo Pan Shop, DBS junction, Kohima and Ketsu Pan Shop. D.Khel, Kohima village.
Entry Fee has been fixed at Rs. 500 for each category.
Last date for submission of entry form alongwith entry fee will be April 13 till 4:00 PM for category of 10m PCP Air Rifle (Open sight) and 10m Break Barrel Air Rifle (Open sight) while for category of 25m Air Rifle with Scope bench rest, registration can be done from the spot.
Cash prizes for the winners of category 1 and 2 stands as; 1st- Rs.12, 000, 2nd- Rs. 8000 and 3rd- Rs. 6000 with certificate.
For the third category, there will be an attractive gift hampers with certificate for the winners, according to KDRA president Visasielie Suhu.
