Dimapur, January 28 (MExN): Dimapur Slammers CC and Das Brothers CC registered wins in the ongoing 6th Unity Cup played at local ground Chümoukedima on January 28.
In Thursday’s first match, Dimapur Slammers CC won the toss and elected to bat. Hem (64) was the highest scorer for the Slammers as they amassed a total of 167 runs in 20 overs.
With only 135 runs, Hurricane CC were bowled out in 13 overs, handing Dimapur Slammers CC a 32-run win. Hem was adjudged man of the match.
In the second match of the day, Das Brothers CC won the match by 8 wickets against Zeliang Colony CC.
Opting to bat first, Zeliang Colony CC managed 59 runs in 20 overs with Shoaib as the highest scorer (16).
It was an easy target chase for Das Brothers CC who won the match in 5.1 overs. Narayan of Das Brothers CC was adjudged man of the match for his 4-wicket haul.
