Sechü-Zubza, January 22 (MExN): The 78 Battalion, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has constructed separate toilets for girls and boys with septic tank and a concrete water storage tank connected to the toilets for providing running water under civic action programme at Christian Mission School (CMS) Sechü-Zubza.
As per a release from the battalion, since its establishment in 1984, the school has had been catering to the educational requirements of the Western Angami villages in and around Sechü-Zubza. However, due to financial difficulties, separate urinals and toilets for the boys and girls students were missing, resulting in acute inconvenience, it said.
On being apprised of this problem, the 78 Bn, CRPF took the initiative of constructing the separate toilets under its civic action programme, it informed. The toilets were formally handed over to the CMS headmaster on January 22 by Commandant, WR Josuah in the presence of officers, personnel of 78 Bn. CRPF, school staff and students and villagers, it added.
