Mokokchung, October 1 (MExN): The Ao Baptist Church Association (ABAM) Sunday School Teachers’ Triennial Conference was held from September 29 to October 1 under the theme ‘Walk through the Bible’.
The conference comprised of morning and evening sessions, which brought a great impact as it served both learning and participation, a press release from the Executive Secretary, ABAM informed.
Precise study of the 66 books of the Bible was given in the morning sessions by six different speakers, namely Rev. Dr. Along Jamir, India Bible Society, Temsuyanger, Lecturer, CTC Aolijen, Narola, Asst. Professor, DBC Dimapur, Rev. Dr. Tali Lemtur, Lecturer, CTC Aolijen, Rev. Toshi Longchar, H/M Impur Bible School, and Imtila, Asst. H/M Impur Bible School.
21 churches displayed their creativity in the evening sessions which refreshed and helped prepare the tedious minds for the next day’s classes, the release stated.
The programme was organized to equip teachers with proper biblical background so that they may be aware and comfortable with the lessons as they prepare to teach. Altogether, 896 Sunday School teachers from 117 churches attended the conference.
